Dominion and A Prayer For Compassion Win the Second Annual VeganFlix Video Seed Grant

VeganFlix is pleased to announce the winners of the second annual VeganFlix Vegan Seed Grant award program which explores and promotes animal justice while also contributing to vegan awareness in a positive way.

Among many impressive submissions, two films, Dominion and A Prayer for Compassion have tied for the grant. Dominion is a feature-length documentary by filmmaker Chris Delforce which uses hidden, hand-held and drone cameras to explore the morality and validity of our dominion over the animal kingdom.

Thomas Jackson’s A Prayer for Compassion, explores veganism, and its lack, in world religions and seeks to inspire spiritually-minded people to a revolutionary expansion of ‘love one another.’ Producer Victoria Moran adds that this film invites viewers ‘…to live more deeply the values they already hold.’

VeganFlix’s founder, filmmaker Sara Millman, launched the grant program in 2016 to support aspiring filmmakers and to promote animal justice through plant-based food choices and a vegan lifestyle. VeganFLix wishes to thank their grant sponsor, the vegan hunger relief and food justice nonprofit, A Well-Fed World.
