Are you ready to see what’s playing this week on VeganFlix? Sit back and relax while you enjoy a short documentary about someone becoming vegan, an incredibly catchy song about being veg with a well-made music video to go along with it, an interview with the winner of Cupcake Wars, and finally, a Q&A with two teenage vegan sisters.

Becoming Vegan (Short Documentary)

This is a short documentary (just under 25 minutes) about vegan lifestyles. Specifically, it follows the journey of a woman named Rachael Lowe. Rachael is a meat eater who decided to do an experiment. She wanted to follow a vegan diet for two weeks, to see how hard, or how easy it would be. During these two weeks, she wanted to provide people with first-hand experience about what it was like to go from being a meat-eater to being a vegan. During the documentary, there are many interviews that Rachael conducted. Becoming Vegan features interviews with Ellmore, Linda Wardale, Rosa Milan and Jack Daly. This short documentary was made for a final year media production project at the University of Lincoln.

Unlimited Culture – Vegetarian Food [Official Video 2014]

This is a very catchy song created by the band Unlimited Culture. Even though the song is called “Vegetarian Food”, the music video still features and promotes 100% vegan food, with a huge focus on fresh fruits and vegetables. Both the video and song are very well made, and the lyrics are easy to understand and sing along to. It’s a great pick me up song to make you feel good about eating plants!

Baking With Chef Chloe Coscarelli!

This is an interview with Chef Chloe Coscarelli and peta2. In the video, Chloe chats with peta2 about what it’s like being the champion of Cupcake Wars (she was the first vegan to win). Chloe also discusses what originally made her go vegan, and how she convinced her whole family to go vegetarian! Chloe’s happiness and enthusiasm are contagious.

Q&A Protein, Our Vegan Stories | Vegan Sister Series

In this video, Lilly and her sister answer some questions that people sent them on Instagram. They are both teenage vegans, and extremely inspirational. Some of the questions that they answered in this video included: “what’s the most common question that you get as a vegan?” and “do you have any tips for beginner vegans?” They also each explained each of their vegan stories. It is so great to see such young advocates for this lifestyle who are making a difference at such a young age.
